My exploration is focused on three questions: To what ends do necessitous strive in the world? Fкte do people's goals structure their understanding of that world? What beliefs, values, and strategies describe successful goal-striving?



I catalyst particularly interested in the mechanisms of successful self-regulation -- swindle what contexts, with what strategies (and in pursuit of what kinds of goals) do family unit feel committed, expend effort, guarantee in active coping, experience cheer and interest, and persist, exceptionally in the face of take no notice of or difficulty?
